RNM Services has a highly experienced commercial design and implementation team, who focus on electrical and ventilation projects for refurbishing schemes and new builds. Emphasis here is on the essentials of safety and security. We install emergency lighting and fire alarms, as well as any other equipment that’s required, or wanted, to ensure those using the commercial facility will be kept safe while at work or play. Whatever the specifications, please call us to talk about how our design and build team can help with your project.
RNM Services utilizes the very latest technology to create detailed design and build plans. Working with you, we’ll take the idea from the initial concept and planning stage, right through to completion of the high-quality installation or build. The designs will take into account the clients design ideas, their performance specifications and any other requirements they have, whilst ensuring that all necessary technical standards and building regulations are strictly adhered to. Our design and build team will fully oversee all aspects of the electrical and ventilation installation, communicating and coordinating with other tradespeople prior to and during construction. On completion of the project, we’ll create and supply comprehensive operating and maintenance manuals, including any relevant drawings or plans.
If the project is domestic in nature, our design and build team will be happy to help. We offer the same high quality design and build services for domestic projects as we do for commercial installations. So if you’re involved in building or refurbishing: hotels, student accommodation ,residential apartment blocks, social housing schemes. Contact us to discuss your requirements, ask us any questions about our services and request a quote. All work carried out by RNM is of the highest quality, including being compliant with the most recent legislation – building regulations and BS7671. When the job is complete, you’ll be issued with electronic versions of the appropriate NICEIC test certificates and we’ll register the build with your local building control authority to make sure everything fully conforms with Part P.
Another of RNMs specialisations is testing electrical installations already in-situ. Our engineers are qualified to the highest levels and experienced in testing to the latest edition of the BS7671 regulations. Identifying and highlighting issues before they progress into more serious problems, allows for a quick and efficient solution to be found and implemented, potentially resulting in savings in both time and cost. RMN can also carry out Electrical Condition Reports (ECR), which are required by all insurance companies and mortgage lenders. The purpose of the inspections is to ensure that companies comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act, be requiring periodic inspections take place. The inspection is a vital part of maintaining electrical systems, detailing the condition of the equipment and highlighting where remedial work is required. When maintenance needs are identified, RMN can recommend the best course of action and undertake the work involved. For domestic dwellings, an ECR is required every 10 years, and every 15 years for commercial properties. However, we can provide inspections at your request, if there’s a change of use or change of tenancy in the property. RMN can also provide the experienced engineers for electrical PAT testing. As part of the Electricity at Work regulations, all electrical items in the work place are required by law to be periodically
